Back-to-back events at Callison this Thursday, Oct. 15th. Starting at 8:30 am we have a Coffee Chat with guest speaker, Ms. Bernell Young, Assistant Principal at Callison. She will be briefly talking with parents on Capturing Kids Hearts and Class Dojo. Come join us for coffee and breakfast items for this informal, informational gathering.
Immediately following, will be the indroductory ESL class for this year at Callison. Scheduled to meet every Thursday 9:00 am - 10:00 am, this first class will start at 9:15am after the Coffee Chat. It will be a meet and greet class to introduce ourselves to each other and the class format. Join us to gain or strengthen you English skills. For parents interested in strengthening their computer knowledge, this 4-week program is designed for you. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. Don't miss out on this exiting opportunity! Email or call for more information or to register today. Because of location, registration is open to families at Live Oak Elementary, Anderson Mill Elementary, Jollyville Elementary, Forest North Elementary, Wells Branch Elementary, and Deer Park Middle School. For those families that are unable to make this particular workshop, Computer Skills classes have begun, or will be starting soon on your home campuses. Computer Labs are available as well so you can practice the skills you've learned. Each class is limited to five, for better one-on-one attention. Contact your school's Parent/Community Specialist to find out the times and class topics.
